Delta T Solutions Introduces Shield™ Tubular
Gas-Fired Unit Heaters
 SAN MARCOS, Calif., June 23, 2006 – Delta
T Solutions introduces the Shield™ tubular
gas-fired unit heaters, the newest product offering in
the company’s full
line of greenhouse heating systems. Also called the
Model GF, this complete heating system provides five times
the warranty of the competition in the greenhouse environment,
as well as innovative features that make it a long-lasting
and reliable source of safe, efficient, and economical
greenhouse heating.
The key product features of the Model GF heaters include
stainless steel construction, designed to withstand moisture
and chemicals; a tubular heat exchanger for significantly
longer life; 81 percent thermal (combustion) efficiency
(via direct spark ignition and power venting); the highest
Btu output of any greenhouse unit heater; and the only
five-year warranty in the industry for greenhouse use of
this type of system.
Heat transfer that is both maximum
and uniform is a major benefit afforded by the innovative
tubular design of the Model GF heaters, for a significantly
longer service life. Tubular
heat exchangers are constructed of heavy-duty, 20-gauge
409 stainless steel and are less susceptible to contaminants
than the exposed clamshell heat exchangers found in other
competitive models.
