Delta T Solutions Introduces Touch-Screen ABC100 Irrigation Controller for Advanced Operation of Boom and Basket Watering Systems
SAN MARCOS, Calif., August 6, 2007 - Delta T Solutions recently introduced ABC100, an advanced, user-friendly touch-screen irrigation controller for automatic or manual operation of both boom and basket watering systems. The ABC100 (Absolute Boom Control) irrigation controller can be used in commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential greenhouses.
Delta T's ABC100 irrigation controller offers features that provide maximum flexibility and utility. Easy to learn and easy to use, the ABC100 features simple touch screens, multi-level basket control, 64-grid crop watering capability, option of automatic or manual operation, and built-in troubleshooting.
The touch screens on the ABC100 irrigation controller provide intuitive navigation for easy, precise boom and basket watering. The system offers a multi-level basket control that allows the user to water baskets on three different levels, with the option of using two solenoids (spray bars) on each level. Adjustable motor speed, water time, and dwell (motor delay) increase the flexibility and utility of the controller.
Up to 64 different grid crops to be watered separately from the same boom with the controller. To program the grid, the user selects the solenoids needed for each particular crop, using up to eight in any row. Multiple solenoids for different watering requirements or for different rows can be programmed into the unit. The adjustable motor speed determines the amount of water delivered for a particular crop. Each crop has its own solenoid and motor speed adjustment.
The ABC100 irrigation controller can be programmed for automatic operation twice a day. A 7-day clock allows automatic operation to vary for each day of the week. Manual runs can be scheduled for 15, 30, 45, 60, or 120 minutes at a time. Manual and automatic operation options are available for both boom and basket watering.
